The fact that on test 2 you were able to insert just the bolt while the bande was not selected, that is the way it should behave without the need of enlarging the hole.
Please check whether you obtain the other expected behaviors of selection, by using the artifice of enlarging the object of intesrest , compared with the size of the mouse's hand pointer.

J’abandonne. Vous devez avoir raison, la carte graphique de mon laptop empêche le logiciel de fonctionner correctement. Je retourne au Meccano réel, là où il ne suffit pas de cliquer mais où on s’écorche un peu les doigts à force de fixer des écrous sur des vis . N’empêche que c’est une belle chose ce VirtualMec. J’essaierai sur un autre ordi. Merci pour votre aide Edveiga.
